Does this sound like you?
So you’re a teen living in the digital age and you want to know a bit more about current events, news, or politics. Well, you’ve really only got two options:
- You turn on the TV and watch the news. There’s a whole bunch of advertisements and it might’ve been entertaining if you were, I don’t know, thirty years older.
- You open a browser and search for recent news. A lot of it is extremely unimportant and when you finally find an article, you can’t see the words through all of the pop-ups and paywalls.
So, if you’re anything like me, you put the phone down and hope someone else will let you know what’s happening in the world.
Not anymore!
I’d like to introduce my project: Lazy Pages. A news source for young people by young people. I aim to have young people consume more real-world news media by creating a website that is funny and relatable, and can be easily accessed via cross-posting on social media platforms such as Instagram and Pinterest.
